Newcastle Wildfowlers would like to say thankyou to the members and guests who survived the clay pigeon shoot at Swinburne quarry with a bitterly cold North-West wind on Thursday 13th April. Due to the above-average turnout and the weather conditions shooting extended into the dusk. For the last guns to shoot, it was an evening flight. The overall winner was Ian McGeorge; well done!...

A large attendance raised nearly £400 towards club funds, which will be used for conservation and the general running of club. 1 AYA Magnum side-by-side shotgun and 1 Alex Henry game gun were the star buys of the day.
