In memory of Brian Carlisle Hancox, who passed away on Monday 29th December 2014, aged 55 years, peacefully at home, with his family by his side. Brian, a devoted husband of Lynn, a much loved dad of Lee, Laura, father-in-law of Lee and grandad of Darcey. Will be sadly missed by brother Barry, Tracy and all his family and friends.
Brian was a long serving member of Newcastle Wildfowlers, with over 20 years as a committee member, and 3 years service as the club treasurer. His interests within the club included wildfowling, pigeon, and clay pigeon shooting.
Brian was also an established photographer, with one of his works “Mountain High” being selected for the Countryfile calendar of 2010.
Brian was the main driving force in the creation, editing and publishing of Newcastle Wildfowler’s first book, “The First 50 Years”, and in the design and manufacture of the club logo and badges.
He will be a great loss to Newcastle Wildfowler’s Association, and to his family and friends.
